Its being observed :-)

Hi all.

Yep - its an A3252 from the 2nd range of electrons.

Anyone going to go for it? Let me know as it wouldn't take a lot of convincing for me to have a flutter, but I don't want to bid if someone else wants to try and offer it a home.

Paul

Once the tubs are confirmed, it might be that we have managed to secure an example of the entire 1983 core model range! Well done chaps :-)

Hi Mathew.

Its had the usual spring clean to remove a layer of grime, that 33 years of service deposits on a machine in general use. All the photos posted of it above are after a couple of hours cleaning and polishing.

It spins! Haven't tried it on a wash yet, as the original rubber hose had snapped off when the previous owners removed it. Would have been replaced anyway, but currently prevents it being used till a replacement is fitted.
Still, at least it meant that it was drained of water and didn't wee all over my car :-)

Paul

single tubs

Hi Paul

I can't tell you the exact dates, but I have both the single tub and spinarinse featured in this brochure, and am pretty sure supermatic james has the T5052
so looks like we've 1983 sown up between us, well done in completing the line up.

ps sorry for jumping in to early in your flow, I'd waited until the front view of the 600 to congratulate not thinking you'd be running through the whole range.

Have a good week

Mathew

Hi Paul

Good save lad’s, strange how machines turn up in batches, nothing for months on end and its dead quite on the forum and then a few trump up in quick succession.

Excellent.

Congrats on another important save - these obscure models tend to get overlooked, kind of grow on you after years of square doors and TOL models, nice seeing the Electron 800 panel there under the blue graphics of the D6180..

Hiya Mike.

Just need to keep an eye out for the even more obscure A3332 Electron 500, with the induction motor.

The 600 is a lovely machine and has tidied up rather well. Just requires a new lid, to replace the existing slightly chipped one. Will get that sorted when the other machines move over to the house, along with all the spares.

Hi Gary.

LOL :-)
Perhaps I should have written more accurately - I hope one surfaces and someone manages to save it.
Getting rather knackering driving long distances. Worth it once done, but psychologically rather daunting the days before.

The days of MUST have are well and truly over, though of course there are one or two machines ...... well, you know :-)
