Hi guys!

As of this year, my bro and his wife have moved to a new place. To keep things short, I was successfully able to get them the Speed Queens since they are really the only mechanicals still around these days. They absolutely love them. I was able to perform that water level switch screw adjustment to get the water to fill back where it belongs, and my sister-in-law loves that HOT gives you full hot water now. (Their previous machines were those 2010 Whirlpools with ATC) 

It's approximately 2 years old now, but, I want to thank Martin's (Yogitunes) post on showing how to keep the lid switch engaged. I was able to give myself a free show while I did some washing there, haha. I also like that I can easily remove that and put it back to normal, because of my 11-month old niece. 

I will say the dryer's lint filter is very interesting. I have never seen one before where you don't physically remove it to clean it, and the SS tumbler drum looks awesome.  

I of course still always have preference for my WP DDs, but these machines perform incredibly well. 

In the pic of the dryer drum, you apparently remove that small plastic grate, and then just rub out the lint on the screen below. 

I had thought maybe the grate was to keep items from getting stuck on there while tumbling, but then I noticed there is one attached to the door itself. *shrugs* Doesn't really matter though, since it is such an easy step.
