Looks like it's in very nice condition. Are these less desirable than 18's and 20's?

What is the difference between the 19 and the 20?

This one looks exactly like my 20.

The 19 had water heating to 150 degrees in the first fill and final rinse I believe. It also had no constant rinse and no heated drying. I emailed the seller and they sent me a few pics

I would seriously consider this machine, but I can't drive up there now to pick it up. :(

Jake-

I saw the machine and immediately emailed the seller about the interior and racks as I'm guessing the portable is the same machine as the built-in, just with a cabinet and hoses. Then, I scrolled down and saw your posts. Are you negotiating on it? Don't want to step on your toes!

Go for it. I need to start clearing out clutter in my life and the last thing I need is another dishwasher

Great Cleaner.

Bought it Brand New in 1981

Heats the water on the first Prewash and the Final Rinse.

Soak and Scrub will clean a Vintage Engine Block to Sparkling Clean.

No Constant Rinse, but still a great Dishwasher.

Drying is sketchy, although on Soak and Scrub and IIRC, Heavy Wash... with all that water heating the drying results was not bad.

I say buy it Rich. You won't be disappointed.

KDS19!

My family had it for about 26 years - if you use jetdry the drying results are good.

Will do, Michael!

Question-

This is actually a KDS-59 (seller sent me a pic of the info plate). Will these racks fit a KDS-19? I'm buying it to have the racks and other spare parts in stock for our built-in KDS-19. We already have the Power Shower as a portable.

Seller and I have agreed on a price, so it's all in whether or not the parts will fit! Thanks for any advice!

Chuck

Fits like a glove!

Same exact machine as a KDS19 but has the full cabinet and wheels and wooden top. Easily converted to a built in model if it is in better shape than your current one. The major parts will also interchange with any 18 thru 20 series as well except for the drying unit. Racks will fit any machine from the 18 thru 22 series units. Bottom racks will fit 18 thru 23's
Also, take off the china guard and washarm on the upper rack and it will fit a 17 series as well!

Thanks! I've just emailed the seller, so we'll see!

It's in great condition- looks nearly new. So now to scavenge the parts we'll want to have in stock for ours. Yes, we could take this one and install it, but I don't think it's worth the effort where ours runs so well. And, looks like someone is looking for the shell to convert their KDS-19 to a portable, so......!
