I found some sort of Styrofoam circular ring and a rubber tube (best way I can describe the pieces) under my portable today after doing a load of wash. I don't move my portable, so I don't know how long the pieces been there. The washer seems to be running great, so I'm not sure what these pieces are and if it will affect my washer. There are no wet spots anywhere (so far).
I will try to upload pics later today. For some reason can't do it on my tablet.

I'll take a stab at this...

I have a similar GE portable, so I took a look
underneath. It appears to be part of one of the suspension
rods.

My machine has 4, one in each corner. At the bottom of each is a
spring and at the top of the spring is the Styrofoam piece. Springs
are visible on mine. The rubber tube may be a cover for the spring?
Just guessing on that.

Tilt your machine back and take a look underneath. All 4 rods and
springs look the same on my machine.

Thanks for the quick reply

Wiskybill, thank you. I will take a look at that either later tonight or tomorrow and post my findings. The tub seems to be sturdy.

Found where parts came from

Wiskybill, thank you for your help. Appears to be what you said and nothing major. I was able to stick it back up on the spring.
Thank you again!
