I think so Bluejay. Really a nice idea to eliminate under sink clutter. |

Interesting unit. The DW has the wash tube in the center of the machine does it still have anything down in the sump area like an impeller or is it just the tube alone? |

Chuck - I have to agree with you, the Dishnasters we had(two versions over 30 years) were fast and easy to use. With no room for a dishwasher in my parent's kitchen, my mom didn't mind washing dishes by hand her entire life. This unit is cool, but it would rob valuable needed storage space in my mom's small kitchen. I wonder what something like this weighs? It's it all one unit or can some of it be disassembled?

Sorry for the delay in adding this note. I wrote to the seller late Thursday night, and I received a reply back Friday morning, saying that the unit was still available. I wrote back with an offer. Then Friday afternoon, I received a follow-up phone call from the seller. He has accepted my offer and we will be arranging a day that I can drive to Minneapolis (Stillwater) to pick it up. I am especially enthused about adding this Frigidaire Electric Sink to my collection, as I have missed out on a couple that have come up in the recent past. Thanks to Paul, and others who often bring new finds like this to my attention. I am sorely behind in keeping my inventory spreadsheet up to date, but this Electric Sink acquisition will bring the Electric Sink count up to somewhere around 30, if not closer to 35. Mike |

Precisely why this being the earliest version appears to be in relatively good shape. Someone else here had gotten one of these early version that heated up before the water entered (which I'd never known with subsequent versions of this particular style before the redesign in 1960 or 1961). And that one was also in pretty good shape. I really like that rack color than the pink color which was in later versions. |
