Interesting...  Never saw a deep-well cooker in the middle of the range top before!  It reminds me of the Moffat 5-burner ranges we had up here. 

 

I don't like the pile of what looks like shredded insulation in the oven photo, though...  That says 'here be mousies' to me...

I thought Southern Comfort was for sipping, not for cooking. A very rare range, but very overpriced at $500 with the cosmetic flaws and they did not show the oven interior so we can only guess at its condition. Again we have the conundrum of someone putting something up for sale at a high price and they cannot even be bothered to take the vacuum cleaner's dusting brush to the thing.

Note the ziggurat pattern in the metal collar on the base of the deep well kettle. These cuts would lock into the element support at the bottom of the well to permit easy raising even if the element were hot.
