Jason - that's great, congratulations on the lucky find. It's all about waiting, sometimes...for the ones near us. But the one I posted here was way too much. I find a number of these over-priced. People are goofsters, pricing their wares like they were held formally by Royalty or has the word Vintage glazing over their judgements. Congrats, Jason - we'll look forward to seeing your new haul, in Imperial(?).

Yeah, I threw out my offer and if they had not accepted I would have moved on. I've still got the fridge keeping me relatively busy at the moment.
The mentality these days seems to be if it's old it's worth a mint. I try and remind people that while these appliances are indeed well built, they still are 40-50 year old machines that are not new old stock. |
