I'm glad these are on the wrong coast; I love the look of the Westy slant fronts and would consider getting a pair.  Since I have absolutely no room for another set, this would not bode well. laughing

I hope someone can save them!

Ditto!  I know there's a lot of AWO folk who are looking for a set like this, so hopefully it won't get to the scrapper...

This is the same model my grand mother had and I would love to have them.

On the "right" coast, but ugh, so far away!

I sent an e-mail to the seller.... let's see if it goes anywhere.  (is anyone else going after these??)

I remember that one of my aunts had a set just like these. As a small child they held me spell bound watching the clothes go round and round in the machines. I'm pretty sure that those slant fronts were the spark to my life long interest in washing machines. I have always wanted to own a set. The closest I ever came was a 1987 White-Westinghouse stacked set that we owned for 7 years. The washer was probably my favorite out of all the many I've owned and used over the past 44 years.

They are 1954 models.... I have a 53 dryer and a 54 washer. You can tell by the door glass.

Nope, not me.   I can only guess they sold and the seller (as so many often do) neglected to delete the ad once they did sell.   I imagine my e-mail reminded them to delete it... because they also didn't bother to respond to my e-mail.
