Consumer Reports does not share Reviewed.com's enthusiasm for the Electrolux. The same wash system is used in the top-end Frigidaire.
Compare CR's highest rated model with the top-end Electrolux: KitchenAid KDTM354DSS: Overall score is 85. Excellent rating for cleaning. Cycle time: 125 minutes Electrolux EWDW6505GS: Overall score is 59. Very Good rating for cleaning. Cycle time: 145 minutes. I enjoy going to Reviewed.com to read their reviews, but when it comes to making puchasing decisions, I generally go with CR's verdict, and I won't go near a machine that doesn't get an Excellent rating for cleaning from them. That has paid off with great cleaning from Maytag, LG, and GE over the years. I've seen this wash system at the local Frigidaire dealer. It's a cool variation on the usual wash arm, but to say the whirling wheel is cheap plastic is an understatement. This post was last edited 10/09/2014 at 11:54 |

individual jets under each plate sounds good, but will it actually work, as low water consumption goes on, powering around 50 holes, instead of about 6 will need more water?? then again, as an extra option it'd be good. it looks great :) |
