Do you have a more detailed model number and serial number? |

Those are fairly newer machines ( the last of the DD) so I think it would definitely be worth fixing |

The only numbers I could find on the machine are: W10025656 Amirim-s The machine does fill with cold water when it is unplugged. Does this mean the valve is faulty? Thanks! |

It sounds to me like a faulty fill valve. There was a Whirlpool TL washer I recently worked on had this same problem. A new set of fill valves fixed the problem. They were not expensive either and very easy to replace. |

if your getting water added during/after the final spin, chances are its the water level/load sensing control....some of these have an electronic board attached to the back of them, and that, of all things, is proven to be faulty with these machines....maybe not faulty, but just odd for it to cause the problems that it does....
oddest thing I ever seen, or even remotely connected to, but solved the issue on several machines.... but your also saying that it continues to add water even if unplugged, that could be the valve itself....but note, the water would never shut off, unless you turn the spigot off, in which case it would flood the floor..... let us know how you make out...... |
