Thank you all for the info and help. I decided to pass on it but it looks like is sold rather quickly. If anyone in the Pittsburgh area has a 50s-60s washer and / or dryer set for sale, let me know. Thanks again! Jeff |

Those are beautiful Goatfarmer! I am talking to a guy right now about a Frigidaire 1-18 that he has. Is this a good washer? I don't have much room in the laundry lol |

1-18's are FANTASTIC for a laundry hobbyist. The action and sound and results are great, all the different way it does things than an oscillating agitator. But they never sold as well as Maytag, Sears, and GE, so parts can be hard to find, and they are all at least 35 years old now. For a hobbyist/enthusiast they are a MUST. For a single machine, home laundry, kinda risky. Many folks here thoroughly enjoy their 1-18's, but opinions vary for sure.
