Morning all!

I have by chance ended up with this hotpoint 9404 twin tub! A friend let me know that their friend was selling this!

I got it for £30! It was abit dirty and stinky but a wash with washing machine cleaner and a 95deg wash sorted that out!

The spinner is abit dodgy the lid got stuck so I had to keep turning off the plug to open it!

I don't plan to use it often as I suffer with my back but it will be fun for occasional use.

Darren

Thanks Kevin!

I'm a frontloader fan at heart but these are fun to roll out now and again :-)

Cool

Hi Darren.

Congratulations on your new purchase. I have a hotpoint twin tub and use it in the summer months. I always use the spinner on the machine before I put them in the dryer, as it cuts down on drying time. At 3100rpm clothes are so dry.

Great machines.

Paul

Thanks guys. Appreciate the comments!

Darren: nice to see another lincoln member! Good choice of name too ;-)

Well today I dragged it out the back door next to the drain so I could keep an eye on my sons playing in the garden :-)

The spin break has failed so I have to turn it off and wait for it to stop and it also spins with the lid open! Other than that it's great!

Darren
