Well....
You'll remember how wrong it went the Castor thing....
It started bad since the start...
But today...well today, retrurning to normal daily routine and so doing the usual weekly scan of ads after a week spent throughout the Piemonte with my family from Maine...
Unbelievably....the dishwasher of my dreams pops up...
And, guess what? NEW!!
I immediately grabbed the phone and called, a nice old lady answered..
She sounded immediately kind and polite, and available, I asked for the availability of a courrier pick up, she said she had to talk to her son and husband...
The son just called me now, and we agreed to a possible pick up with a courrier...he said they could pack it up and grab a pallet somewhere and agreed to ship...though they sounded reluctant to do it at first...and I probably sounded too harsh requesting it due to excitement...but someway he said OK.
I am hopeful they don't change their minds....that's why I need all the positive vibes to make this come true...it has the potential to end me with this beauty under my stainless kitchen in an heartbeat, and it will look great also in my future 60s style kitchen...
Unlike another washer....a dishwasher, a real one.. was really, really needed and hoped for in this house!
Finally!
YAY!
www.subito.it/elettrodomestici/la...

And this one use real water and really moves it!
Noisy? Maybe a little bit...but my house always has music playing so that's no problem..and water moving is music to my hears also....

The later model:

and positive vibes headed your way.

i know how nervous you can get when you are excited over something. and all the doubts start popping into your head!!
that is exactly how i was with the 806 & 808 pair that i just got.

take a deep breathe and think positive thoughts. if the son agreed to a courier pick up & agreed to ship this, than it sounds like it's all go!!!

but i will definitely keep my fingers crossed for you!!

buona fortuna il mio amico!!!

Noisy?

We had one at the gay community center in the eighties. Once a neighbour came over to ask if we were drilling in her wall when it ran. lol.

Full cycle is 60 litres of water IIRC.

Thank you Christina & all.
Yes Christina, when I called, the lady immediately sounded to be nice and available folks, unlike the people of the castor ...
And I had a good feeling about since the start, the son already emailed me the bank info for a money transfer and money are already on their way...
Maybe it's too early to cry "victory" but the matter is at a good point.....
They sounded like simple and kind people, the kind I like...the son said in the email that they're going to build a pallet on their own since his dad is a wood carpenter now retired....and he'll be happy to do that to keep himself busy... Aww
So, it should succeed as hoped.

Louis, ah yes...I remember you said that before....
Well.... I'll see that once it's here, my neighbors are noisy people and they couldn't and wouldn't be bothered by, they just couldn't hear it over their shouts LOL and they just have to dare come over and say something...I never did that in all these years because of their fights, TV or when the one above me starts singing sicilian songs like a mujahedeen, drunk on the balcony in summer mornings and afternoons....LOL
I don't think it may possibly be that noisy also.... I mean...my kitchen doesn't come in contact with any walls toward other apts, like indeed does my bedroom and hall, and the floors unlike the walls are very thick in this condo, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Then I am about moving in a 3 months.....so neighbors won't be a problem anyway...

I am so happy to have this dishwasher.....finally!
Looking forward to junk off the bosch! Dump it's the place it belongs!

What you mean for "what vintage?" or was it supposed to have a ! at the end?

Whirlpool branded indesits in Canada?
I'd have never guessed....

I knew Ignis had involvement with Whirlpool, and also with the Philips that IIRC was Dutch (we can see that even in South America, more precisely in Venezuela whirlpool made machines were branded Philips over there see ex: listado.mercadolibre.com.ve/lavad... ), over here, Ignis made whirlpool, better say whirlpool bought ignis after a partnership that lasted about a decade and you started having Ignis aka philips made machines branded whirlpool inititally...then evolved on their own under Whirlpool management....

Speaking of Ignis Diomede addressed me to an aquintance of him that had a original Ignis dishwasher to sell, but price was too high and machine too far...I was about getting though..
Original Ignis were good dishwasher also, but I just have this thing for the Indesit and I like them more and I think they're better in many ways....

Many of the older (late 70s and 80s) Ignis were made in Germany and had the typical shapes of the Philips machines....
Like this;

To me the acquistion of Ignis from Whirlpool signed the decay of the Ignis quality people knew.....
You just cannot compare the original Ignis to the machies made after whirlpool aquistion...not sure what happened, but whirlpool here became great thanks to Ignis and philips...don't know how to consider whirlpool here, if as an evolution of Ignis and philips or else...all I can see is what were Ignis machines before and what they became after...
I am not a fan of Whirlpool Europe anyway... they make decent machines for the current average european standards ( standards which have never been mine)... but not anything special... and of course nothing like the US counterparts for sure, night and day difference......
Speaking of washers...for example...
The lastets acceptable quality machine that came both as Ignis and as Whirlpools that I have seen, was the toploader with the glass top ( but still ignis/philips in it's nature)....after that...forget about whirlpool and Ignis....

Another correlation of the Philps and Ignis can be seen with the brand Phonola.
Phonola was acquired by Philips in 1969...
Phonola washing machines were nothing but Ignis...
These machines came with 4 names, Phonola, Philips, Ignis and Whirlpool.

And here it is!!!!
Really, I didn't think possible that for me a "washer guy" a dishwasher could mean so much, the exicetement and happines I felt about it and that I'm still feeling it's to high heaven now....
Really, it's so beautiful, and seller was right! New! Still new holy cow! Not a sign of ever being used, just installed...
Story is particular, this family had it installed in the apt in their multi family house they were meant to go soon back in the 70s, but plans changed and they ended moving abroad, this dishwasher remained at the house where the granmother still lived, though she never used that kitchen, nor the dishwasher.....it sat 40 years unused, under this kitchen counter....till now that they came back, and decided to renovate/use the room..

I installed it this evening, though I had a little problem...they did cut the fill hose, so I had to replace it with one of the new ones I had, the dishwasher had the inlet inside the cabinet and wasn't meant to use one of those modern ones with the elbow, but a straight one... so I had to detach the one I had still connected to faucet from my previous DW ( hose that's still in good conditions) and use another straight one I luckily had, too bad that while detaching the old one, I probably pinched a little bit the metal hose where the dishwasher attachement is attached, second metal "net" hose which it's connected to the sink faucet, so now it leaks a few drops under the sink.....I think I need to install a tap near the dishwasher since I see I do have a faucet outlet on the wall next to dishwasher spot.. (I wonder why they didn'ìt put it there but connected it to the faucet of the sink), will do that this weekend anyway.....
I'm testing the machine now, WOW!!!!!!!! Just as I thought! This one really moves the water AS IT SHOULD!!! I think I did put too much powder for the empty cycle as it started leaking 2 small streams of suds on the front corners, so had to drain it and fill again with a smaller amount.
And I thought it was more noisy than what it really is.....
So happy!!! I will scan the booklet when I've more time....it's in Italian, english, deutsch and français.
Happy!!! Really happy!!!

Congratulations! That machine is magnificent looking! It's indeed a similar machine as I was talking about, only this one has the stainless steel front panel, we had the white one. I hope you get many years of service from this machine.

In the seventies the Indesit sold for ƒ699.- (Dutch guilders) (€315.-). Other machines were sold at a much higher price. It was a rather popular machine at that time. But it came with a price, it used more water and electricity than other machines.

Maybe it's too soon to speak, but from what I am seeing, the result of what it uses are dishes the cleanest ever...AMAZING!
Loaded today for first actual wash!
This one removes burnt ragù (yes I burnt it making the ragù sauce for lasagne) and the lasagnes baking dish, all this on the short light cycle! Not even the normal or the strongest (BIO)...
I know and I feel like I shouldn't be surprised but I am! WOW!

I could never experience such a thing from whatever machine, even our 80s Rex! That machine could just handle these soils with the strongest cycle.....and anyway not always 100%/totally.

I think that what you spend for the alleged "more" it uses it is likely given all in the superb results!
I'm in love with it!

I didn't open it during wash, i wasn't there but I went to get rid of the bosch to the dump.....though when i came back it was drying and steaming from the vent, looked it was slightly hotter than 65 inside from the vent, though maybe it's due to the element being turned on during rying cycle as I could smell the typical odor of drying using the element....another thing...it totally dryes everything, at perfection!!!!! No more towel drying!! Yuppee!

Anyway Louis, sure I'll tell you more with the time....
I still have to get customed to the differences of the various cycles and "learn" about.....
I also still have to read all the booklet, I just looked for the programs chart, but differences o9f what changes like temps etc are not mentioned, anyway, I'll scan the english one and post it here.
And with the time I'll be able to let you know every small detail about it, I just have it since yesterday...

That's a cool looking dishwasher, and I really like the design. Like you, I'm happy, too, as you got a low mileage, like new machine. It has a technical design, as I call it, with grace.

Indesit? It's indecent that it sounds indecent from a brand called Indesit. LOL!

kenmoreguy89's profile picture
I am almost crying....... :( :( :(
It simply was too beautiful to be true for me.....I couldn't be this lucky...it never goes smooth and well for me.....never!!!
Was using it tonight, it was like 15 minutes it started it's cycle, I was getting back to the kitchen when all of a sudden lights went out, I thought of a black out, but lights on the other apts were still on, so I checked the safety circuit breaker and it was off, something wasn't going right.... that gave me the willies as I just had the dishwasher running...
Tried to lift the switch up, but it wouldn't stay up...
I reached the dishwasher and turn the button off and, and I could smell a burnt ozone smell... here I screamed a huge "FUCK!"
After turning it off, switch would stay up...
I came back to the machine and checked for leaks or something, nothing...everything was okay....I tried turning it on again and lights went off again, so yes, it was it....then I did turn the knob to a random point and went to the safety switch and lifted it, lights didnt go off and I could hear the machine draining.
I waited that drain would finish, it then started filling water for rinse, and once full and motor started going....I could immediately see by the loss of power/light of the light bulbs in the room that something was wrong with it (like if someone just switched on a 6000 watt thing), just after that, I could also hear that the motor was doing a weird sound than before, like a kind of humming in background, the kind of noise motors does when they're on effort or blocked... you know... that electric hum ..don't know if I am clear, I could hear water inside not being sprayed as strong as before also.... and ozone/burnt smell was starting to get out again from the machine, so I turned it off....and here I am, scared as hell of what it could mean...machine is kaput????? I am flattened....

Well, I should have expected it, there's always something that doesn't go initially with the Vintage I buy, well, at least I thoght that this one being never used would just work without probs...I am not into dishwashers so don't know...looks like motor is in dispersion and overheats, but maybe it's a faulty bearing that made it work on effort and did burn something inside like insulations or something and now it disperse, I hope it didn't suffer and for my knowledge about I am not able to tell if it ever did....if so I think I can have the motor checked and eventually re-winded but I think it'll cost much... cry
I don't even know where to start checking it now, still trying to figure how to start detaching motor-pump stuff inside... but damnit I'll have it working again! I must to!
I am now starting asking on various forums for some help...
I am so sad though....

Trying to figure out.....
No clue....and do  not  even know  where to start...

I spot an electric box over the motor which is a bit darkened....look like it overheated, not from the motor as it's just one side of it, and upper..
maybe some wiring inside got bad and discharge electricity on the motor? Gonna open this little box today, gotta go out  buy a smll screwdriver (I had it, but can't find it)....
Go think it could give problems....it looks everything so shiny and new....

Removed motor-pump block this evening, bearing was fine and well greased, propeller turns enough freely, can't spot any signs of burned insulations or overheating from outside, no burnt or ozone smell either (it actually still have that nice vtg appliance mechanics smell)....go figure... i am gonna bring it to an electrician- motor rewinding shop tomorrow...I discovered there's one just one block away from my condo...

That looks a lot like the Dishlex Pump/Motor Assembly from the machines sold here from the late 70's until the mid 90's. The early machines were like yours with a separate drain pump, the later machines have a reverse to drain main motor.

Next time I'm at mums, I'll try and find it, I have a brand new motor (With the later pump attached) in box at Mum's. I'm pretty sure to convert it to the older style, you just need to cap off the drain ports.

Can you take a photo of the back of the motor and see if you can get some measurements, I'll try and do the same in the next couple of weeks.

Cheers

Nathan

Thank you Nathan! You're so kind!
But let's wait to see how it ends up.....you know, anyway shipping from Oz is not going to be cheap so...it's the last attempt I could do ...I appreciate.
I doubt that the dishlex is identical, but who knows...
Anyway this motor is a 370 watts, 2800 rpm no maker indicated...that thing moves the water!!!! You gotta see the propeller!

I discovered the guy that was supposed to fix motors near my house is just a turner, and doesnt know much about electrics, he just rewind motors.....and they told me he's expensive....
So am gonna bring the motor to Casale Monferrato 15km from me... someone maybe have  heard this town as it was a famous cenre for asbestos panels and cementified products production back in 50s, 60s and 70s (eternit company) that  made ill  (tumors) and killed thousands of people in that town  and around because of their factory that used to spray the dusts all over the town from it's chimney in those years as well as their products used in constructions all over italy and europe  (my sister boyfriend's is from there and his father just battled lungs cancer, there're still effects going on today since then and the dismissed factory it's still there, the factory was made 70% of eternit also )....in these days there's a scandal for the  lawsuit  result againts eternit company... nobody is gonna pay for this genocide!
Anyway, am going off topic.....
Am going there as there's an electric company who is specialized in civil and industrial implants and lot of other things, who also rewinds motors and they state of every kind (first google results that pops out in italian), so hopefully they can tell me exactly what was wrong with it, they should be into these things...and eventually fix. rewind whatever..
I was told not to detach the snail, as once you detach it, it's likely to develop leaks as it will loose it's tighteness and it's difficult to get it sealed properly again... I trust the suggestion, so am not going to do anything...
I could detach the two covers (where snail is attached to) and keep home the rotor+snail and upper cover block, but I think I need to bring them the whole block so they hopefully can wire it and check how it works....you can't do that without it's rotor...
But I am reluctant and afraid to, that's because the snail is made of a delicate material bakelite-like...and I am fearful something could happen, finger crossed.. parts of course are not available anywhere anymore....just from donors...
Speaking of donors, it's notlike they pops out everyday either...
Currently there's just one VTG indesit for sale and it's near me...it's the 3 racks tall one, the model is the later one.... but perhaps it mounts the same part as the 2 rack model and the earlier ones like mine... they ask 180 euros...a lot considering I'd use it for parts...

Anyway...I hope not to have to do such a thing....
So finger crossed...

There is something wrong with Mielerod's Miele dishwasher! Where is the orange button that they put on every single one of their appliances? That little orange dot on the dial doesn't count. Something not right here.

Hi Rapunzel,

There was an orange ring in the door button, but it's faded after 30 years!

Gotta luv those orange buttons lol, just like on my 25 year old dryer.

I've personally witnessed entire Miele appliances fade away around their orange button. The orange button never fades.

There must be someone out there that is cursing me...
That it's just not right...
Have had the motor to rewind finished just few days before Christmas (they said it was burnt out), 70 euros the expense, so finally yesterday I had time to work on the machine..
My sister went here to give me an hand, and after 2 hours, from 9pm to 11, because of various difficulties, that I'd really need pics to explain, the motor pump was up again...
Water test went fine, so it was finally time time test the motor..
I fire it up and I start hearing the same weird noise it would do before, few seconds to lay to the back to watch and I started seing smoke coming out...plenty...
It was not the same odor I smelled before, but at this time it was like burned wax.
motor of course had been wired correctly.....I have no clue..I am so sad....

Now I do not know anything about this machine, but does the main wash pump motor that you had re-wound have a start switch, more or less a remote start relay mounted elsewhere on the machine? If so, when the motor gets up to 75 percent speed, usually in a second or less, it should drop out the start winding. If this is a split phase induction motor, it should either have a centrifugal start switch in the motor, or a remote mounted current relay.

Either the relay is not starting the motor with the start windings or it is not dropping them out after it is up to speed. Don't know if this machine has a run capacitor either.

If it does, it may be out tolerance and be the motor may be drawing more current than it should be if the phase angle is not correct.

I don't think to see a relay (which I know the shape but not what's for) or such a thing anywhwere in the machine...
I can just see it has a capacitor..
Sorry but for the rest it's greek to me...I just know what the tag says..so that it is a single phase motor...voltage, amperage and rpm..

Please could you explain better? I am not learned about motors..
Thank you!

I post pics of motor contacts maybe it tells something..
F: HOT
N:neutral
the other is a red wire i don't know..just know it went there as i was told so and it was before also...
Both N blue wire and the red wire are connected to COND which is the capacitor...
On the pline on the side I connected the black , then blue and red..
The black were 2 wires gathered in one contact...

I checked the electric schematics, a relay is not mentioned anywhere.
it says motor has 2 windings, a main winding and an auxiliary winding.

Sorry to get back with you late. I am hazarding a guess that the auxiliary winding is the start winding, and that white module mounted on the side of the motor might be a current relay.

I can't quite tell from the picture, but does that white box/module have any arrow or direction indicators on it, telling which way it should be mounted? Also, can you hear anything rattle or jingle around inside of it?

As for the condenser/capacitor, is it a metal can or plastic? Does it have any value markings, such as μF and voltage, with a tolerance range?

Also, I read through most of this thread, but is the wash pump also the drain pump, or does it have a separate drain pump? Didn't know if this motor reverses or not.

Post# 800966 , Reply# 45   12/26/2014 at 15:40 (3,402 days old) by mieletag (Cape Girardeau, Missouri)

On a second glance at your pictures, I guess the white module/box is just a wiring terminal box. I am assuming this machine runs on 240 VAC 50 Hz?

Still makes me wonder if after all this time the condenser/capacitor dried out or the dielectric separations inside the capacitor deteriorated to the pointed of a shorted/opened/weak condenser/capacitor, especially after just having the motor re-wound. I work in the HVAC field, and believe me, if a run capacitor is weak/shorted/opened, the PSC motor that it is connected to does not like it. Amperage draw will sometimes increase quite a bit when this happens.

I wonder if the motor itself has or had an internal overload switch.

The white module on the motor is the box where contacts go, see the pic I attached, no other boxes on the motor...
If you look on older pics you can see how it's connected...
I don't know about the auxiliary winding it mentions, just that it includes that as full part of the motor block...
I wish i could post pics but I lost the bluetooth usb so can't upload pics on the pc (I don't have a smartphone)...
The capacitor is a metal one, it's a kind of weird one as each side has a contact divided in 2 pins, on one side I see 2 blue ones and on the other just a red one..and an empty pin.
If i am seeing right, looks like a blue one come from up where the timer is then arrives to the pin and then another blue goes out from the second pin of the same contact and go to motor, while the red on the other side go/comes to/from the motor....
Looks like the capacitor itself has nothing written on it but look like to have read that on the schematics....I need to check again..
I know the motor tag (which is the cap of the contact box) had written on it μF=10

"Still makes me wonder if after all this time the condenser/capacitor dried out or the dielectric separations inside"
All the rest it's greek to me as I ignore all these electric things and I really have no clue of what you're talking....
But the dishwasher sat unused for 50 years in an empty house's kitchen.
if there was something to dry out inside it may well be.
it worked first time I used it, then as you can read in the middle of wash it did what it did...so you think it may be the capacitor?
i would try change that out but don't know what type to look for and how to connect it.
Yes machime works withe European voltage and hertz/cycles.

Mmmm, now I am curious if the motor shop has a electrical multimeter with a capacitance check mode. Did the motor shop also look at the capacitor when the motor was re-wound?

The only other thing I could think of is if the timer contacts are oxidized or something like that and is creating a high resistance connection, where the motor is not getting full voltage and current to it to run properly.

Did the motor not operate correctly as soon as it started after you had it re-wound, or did it take a while to do this again?

Sorry for all the questions, just trying to narrow it down to what could be causing this.

Don't feel sorry, i know you're trying helping me and i am so grateful for that!
I just brought the motor to the shop upon suggestion I had, as I tried getting help from people who has one also, and they told me that it was motor that went kaput and had to be re-winded, they said it could be a stpid thing such a spider net..which it was weird to me as I could see motor very dirty work as well...
The capacitor is screwed to the body of the machine...and didn't touch it.
Timer has a plastic cover on it, though contacts are out and are as shiney as new....I can't see oxidations...
No the motor immediately did the thing and same noise it did before when it started the problem, as soon as it started I could immediately hear that hum sound it did before, it would run and pump inside but it was like it was on effort and kind of vibrate, a vibrating electric sound sort of a hum, it ran for like 4 seconds and smoke started coming out the bottom so immediately stopped it...and here we are again...
Do you think I need to have re-winded it again? I see the windings in it kind of darkened up a bit, look to have a dark patina like small drops, I were thinking if when they rewind them they use wax or paraffin to lubricate the copper, that may explain the smoke that smelled like burnt wax and dark patina that looks like melted wax....

Post# 800980 , Reply# 51   12/26/2014 at 16:37 (3,402 days old) by mieletag (Cape Girardeau, Missouri)

Re-winding the motor kind of depends on if the windings got hot enough to break down the varnish that insulates the copper. There is a device called a megaohm metter or megger that sends a brief but high voltage pulse through the windings to see if the insulation is broke down enough to warrant re-winding.

Although, if someone has a decent enough ohm meter that can do a conductance test (nanosiemens), this can determine that as well, just not quite as accurate.

Sometimes that varnish can still smell a little, if it gets a little warm till it is fully cured/dried.

How long did the motor operate this second time after being re-wound?

kenmoreguy89's profile picture
Well, i don't know anyone who can do that, maybe the electrician at our company, but i don't think they have that megger thing, just the ohm...
But I think it's better to have it re-detached and re-winded another time, it may still be okay, but i want it to last as long as possible without repairs needed and this attempt may have wekeaned it to shorten it's future life.... perhpas if it's not completely to re-wind they may recondition what and if has suffered.....
It was really a matter of seconds anyway, i guess it didn't run more than 6 seconds before i turned it off, 4 seconds and it started to smoke... plus i ran it about 2 seconds today trying to find the right click to drain it out.
yesterday night I was just too sad and mad to lay around it, I developped a terrible headache for the nerve i had, let alone the neck and back for all the troubles putting it back again...

Sorry to hear that.

I don't blame you for wanting to re-wind the motor. As for draining the unit, does it have a separate drain pump? If so, does this pump work OK as far as you can tell?

Usually, replacing a capacitor is not too expensive. Don't worry if the terminals on a new one are a little different or the size of the cap is different. Try to get the same exact 10 μF that it calls for, also, if it has a listed voltage on the capacitor, which will be higher than the mains going to it, try to get one listed at or above the voltage rating. You can always go higher in voltage, just not lower.

The way most of these capcitors are made anymore, having a higher voltage one will dissapate heat a little better and will be a bit more sturdy dielectrically.

Yes, it has a separate pump, the pump looks working fine, drained it today, actually the pump works better than any dishwasher I have ever seen having this kind of pump as it drains in seconds, very powerful for it's kind, maybe it's also due to a well designed snail not the pump itself as it's the same standard kind....funny that they didn't use reverse motor so the same wash motor to drain like their washing machines, early indesits washing machines drained as they spun using one motor, very rare for a front loader...
Anyway....so you think it may be the capacitor?
I will look for one tomorrow hopefully electrician didn't go on Holiday.....
Do you think I'll be able to put it back where the old one was...what if it has a different thing to hold it?
What you mean higher in voltage? I see many of these have written 450 v...you mean one like this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/CONDENSATORE-RIC...

This is written being okay for washing machines, motor pumps, compressors, and motors geneally, is listed being 450 v max and i can chose the microfarads...
I am afraid on how I'll be able to attach it where the old one was...

Yes, as far as the 450v written on a capacitor, if it is that or higher voltage, you would be fine. As for attaching, I have seen the stud mounted ones like you are describing, as far as most that I see in my industry have a half-round clamp holding them in, or if the new capacitor is bigger, you can use some pre-drilled metal strapping.

Hope everything works out!

I am still looking for the damn capacitor, the only furnished electric material suopplier in town seems to be on Holidays (I try since three days now) and he didn't even bother putting a sheet saying till when in the shop door..... ahhhh living in what's becoming a ghost town!
I went into a small electric shop I magically found opened this morning (it was closed as well yesterday) hoping for some luck, but as I thought they didn't have motor capacitos in regular stock, but the man looked around and gave me one he saved from some jobs they did, he gave me it for free, though it's a 12 microfarads instead of 10 I need...will it change that much? Just to try???
If I have time I'll try going to the nearby town, where there's a very large supplier... otherwise will order one online over ebay or something... but times will lengthen, I can't stand anymore the dishwasher in the middle of the kitchen, I want try see if works ands if it's the capacitor and then will detach motor again and will bring it to re-wind another time, hopefully they do it quickly.. body and finishes are getting scratches and bumps also even though it's over a blanket...
I was so happy as it was so new....and am reducing it like an used one puttering and fiddling trying to fix it....my sister while helping me didn't hold it well while I were pushing the motor and she was inside screwing it to place, and machine was pushed toward the back cover that was laid on the wall... and made evident scratches and bumps on the chromed front frame finish....I didn't notice of it immediately..I thought she were holding and would think of it... but evidently she didn't..it's not her fault anyway...It's me..i should have imagined she didn't think of it... but just to screw inside, she was so concentrated on doing that she didnt'n think of anything else..she's not inclined for these jobs..though it was the only person available to help me...my father is always busy at the farm...

It shouldn't have gone like this!!! ;(

Ok...managed to go to the nearby town, got the capacitor, will mount it on later..
Pray for me...
Also stopped in a new thrift store just in front of the shop, I was told it being big and well furnished, with honest prices, actually to me it was small and total delusion, stuff priced randomly and not in line with real value...
There was a nice Gasfire stove though, price was not so great but was in VGC, sadly not the model I like for my new house otherwise I'd have made a thought about being so near to me..

Yes...I put in back in place now and currently running a load to check everything goes fine, motor seems to work pretty well, but it's not the same noise I heard when i ran it first time....didn't even screw the back panel completely
I will pull it out soon again, after New year's Eve and will bring motor to re-wind..for peace of mind as you say...yes..
Hopefully my sister is still willing to give me an hand, sure she will...but I'll wrap it out like a baby now to avoid problems of bumps and scratches...
I am happy!
Thank you again!

I also found the pump for the filter-flo today in the mail...so I'll be busy putting it on tomorrow!
Just miss the ignitor for the dryer now to arrive, then I'll have all my dear helpers working again! Just in time to take them away again and move to the farm...LOL
Well it'll be presumably in March! Hopefully!

Yes!!
And over my expectations, today postwoman knocked and even the dryer ignitor was here, tracking said it was still in Milan airport hub...
What has been an awful Christmas day, also accompained with an unfortunate lunch with the family, lunch where I also have almost been on the verge of a bad quarrel with my uncle (my father's sister husband), over stupid claims about the US he did...
Now I can say that New Year's Eve is going to be a nice day opposed to it....
Hopefully it all it's a sign this 2015 will start on the right foot!
