Me too. I've sat in front of n
My machine many times. And again I used to do this when I was a kid. My nan said when I was a baby and couldn't sleep they put the washer on and put my pram in front of the washer and I would be asleep in minutes

I watch my washer all the time. In fact I get a bit annoyed if I've set it going and I have to go out lol. And if I'm watching TV while the washers on I'll be popping in and out to watch it. My partners very used to it and doesn't say anything apart from occasionally saying "is it still alive?" Lol

This is so funny, because we all have the same traits.

No one here at home gives it a glance any more, except when some one stands in front blocking the view then I get annoyed and make them move out of the way, I also turn the TV down to get the full motor sound experience.

My old high school Penicuik High School had an A3790 Everyday used to walk by the home economics classroom sometimes got sent away when exams were on, and used to 'help' the teachers back in the day when was there between 1993-1998. The funny thing is they had a 93 dryer beside the Logic and and a 95 polar white washer in fabric room with the matching dryer to the Logic. Used to sit in fron t of the Logic for ages from doing B onwards

Does anyone know on how you change your name don't want to be known as CSD rather have Servis Gem as everywhere else

Mike

I love to watch my washing machines do the business. My partner often comes in to the laundry room to find me with my finger Jamed down the slot on my GE filter flo so i can watch the agitator and recirculation with the lid open. He thinks I am quite mad (he is a psychiatrist) which is a worry. I too hate to go out whilst a washing machine is on. I like to keep an eye to see what it is up to. I love to watch the laundry go around on the LG truesteam washer, especially when it does its six motion bit. I took the smoked plastic panel off the door to get a better view of the drum. A big improvement.
Happy laundering!

BTW we are in Japan on vacation at the moment and I love the bidet toilets that are all over Japan. They are such a great idea. Would love one for home. The japanse are very clever and very inventive!

A Load A Day Is The Well Balanced Way

electron1100's profile picture
When I get up in the morning most of the time I put a load on, this is an non-colour fast cottons wash which takes an hour, so for the next 60 minutes I can sit there with coffee and fags slowly waking up, I find it a very pleasant way of waking up, like others here know anyone standing in the way is a F*****G pain......I could at times be accused of being paranoid and thinking they do it on purpose! :-)

This is my view from the dining table

Watching washers

candyd10_14x's profile picture
I can definitely share those memories,

worst is when I go to a friends house, and they are unaware of my interest and they have a classic washer, they kind of wonder "is he watching the washer?" - but then again I always end up confessing to it and it's usually not a problem, I have been called 'weird' for it before, but why should that make a difference?

Nice to see everyone has fond memories :)

Brandon.
