1140 RPM on all Unimatics from 1947 to 1958.
1010 RPM for some Rollermatics 1965-70 models. The 1964 Rollermatic transmission-equipped models didn't get the faster spin speed. Some Multimatics from 1959 to 1962 did spin to 850 RPM. One easy way to spot the Rollermatics that spin to 1010 RPM is to look for "Rapidry 1000" on their control panels. And unlike Unimatics that always spin at 1140 RPM, these "Rapidry 1000" models only spin to 1000 RPM after the rinse on some cycles (and extra rinse on some models). The soak and wash spin are slower. This post was last edited 11/22/2014 at 07:05 |
