Think Pink! (Another Sandy Search is Over)

- or chartreuse."

Okay, so I'm giddy. Today I received a package from Alan bigalsf containing the coveted pink control panel for my KDS-55 KitchenAid Superba VariCycle dishwasher, the portable/convertible version of the KDS-15 undercounter machine. The panel color was actually described as "Antique Gold" in KA brochures of the time, but it looks pink in person, due to the rose-beige color of the plastic indicia inserts.

The panel Alan sent means I can banish the Ye Olde Fayke Woode Graine panel presently on the machine, which is more of a relief than I can tell youse.

The photo below shows the kind of panel I got from Alan at the top, and the kind of panel it will be replacing at bottom. The bottom photo doesn't really look like it's Ye Olde Fayke Woode Graine, but that's what the dark areas are.

Checkrate/Likes Congratulations, Sandy!! Please post a photo when you replace yours. Love the quote from the 'Funny Face' number, Sandy! I'll use it when I threaten hubby that a new kitchen may have a pink appliance or three... LOL
