I just picked up this washing machine tonight.
Anybody know the date this was made?

I would say mid 80's. This version of the GE FF reminded me of the Hotpoints of the era, the control panels looked pretty similar.

I looked on GE's model code decipher, and the machine was made in September of 1983.

I made a video of the unit. It will be tested this weekend (likely).

Is it just a one-speed or two?

Wouldn't it have been great if GE would have made the original filter-flo machines as an electronic model?
I wonder why GE was so far behind in Electronics for their Washers and Dryers?
Or even a rapid advance mechanical timer for the W/D's? It would be so very collectible today.

It's a one speed unit.

Here's a cycle I recorded.
