Hello all i have a question about my Maytag Bravo Washer the model number is MVWX600BW i've had for 7 months now and it's a good machine so far until it started acting up a few day's ago i ran a normal load like alway's and chose the normal cycle and it started spinning to sense the load and then it stopped and started fillng all the way up with water, because normally it will spin to sense the load and then start filling with water and spinning to wet the clothes then it stops and washes like it does.So after it went through the cycle and what then i decided to run another cycle with no clothes on the normal cycle and it worked fine,so i don't know what is wrong with the cursed thing.

sounds like it was somehow set or triggered to the bulky cycle which would add a full tub of water.....

if anything, try unplugging it for a while and then try again, this will sometimes reset everything......

if anything, at 7 months, it should still be under warranty

let us know how you make out

I did unplugged it to reset it the other day,it seemed to work ok but earlier today i did a a few loads it seemed fine but the last load it didn't dispensed the softener so i don't know what's up with it.....lol but i'll have it checked out by a repair man because i don't know anything about today's machines.

Also i forgot to mentioned when it was filling all the way up on normal cycle,so i drained it and tried another cycle like the wrinkle control and it still did the same so i let it complete the cycle and when it was finished i ran the machine again and it worked fine till today it started acting up when it didn't dispense the softener for the last load.

This is my personal opinion.

Hmmmm... I'd have to talk to some of the engineers at work but that sounds like a water valve issue... I'll ask when I'm back in the office.
