I have an old KDI-17a that was working fine until recently. The bi-metal part went out on the detergent dispenser. So I replace that and now it seem that during the wash and rinse cycle that there is no water moving around? The pre-wash cycle seems to be working fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
David

Wiring Problem??

When the machine calls for detergent, the motor current is switched thru the bi metal(s) of the detergent dispenser for a short period of time. The same holds true for the Rinse agent dispenser which also has a bi metal in it.Make sure that you definitely have both wires connected to the bimetal terminals on both devices and that none of the wires have come loose or disconnected.
This would be a place to start since it seems like the pump was working fine before you changed the bimetals.
