This set is really something (on eBay):

Up for sale. Frigidaire Dealer service manuals “Tech Tips” accumulated over 50 years of service. We were a full line Frigidaire dealer from 1950-1992. These manuals were mailed out each year. We diligently filed each volume and purchased the genuine binders. There are service books for every product Frigidaire made, both with General Motors (GM) and White Consolidated (WCI). Bonus books include 1933 service book pictured and some parts manuals, breakdown, and quick references.

We anticipate that you will pick this up at our Noblesville Indiana location. Shipping would be considered but at customer expense.

At $2,000, I won’t be buying.  But this looks like a collection of materials that are worth saving as a complete set.  It's really unfortunate that university libraries don’t take more interest in this sort of thing.

Yikes!  2 grand is pretty pricey, especially considering all the Frigidaire information that Robert has already scanned and made available here on the site.

$2000! What a rip off, considering I've posted a ton of them for download and have a lot more to go...

Scroll down to "Service Manuals & Parts Lists" half way down the page.

The price is insane, and my guess is that most people prefer the ecopies from automatice, anyway.  But I’m a sucker for the printed page—and books are the retro choice, after all!!

It just seems that physical collections like this deserve to be preserved somewhere, but so often, they’re just discarded.

John is 100 percent correct.

They do deserve to be preserved. And also, the price is insane. I placed it on my ebay watch list, so I can watch it sit there forever and not sell, till they come to their senses. It's probably worth two hundred, (if that)and then someone would have to scan it which looks like a lifetime project. It might be something to eventually buy at a low price, inventory it, make a list, then pick and choose which ones would be worth scanning. Les.

Yeah, I think's pretty unlikely that anyone would pay this price for this. I have a VERY extensive Frigidaire service collection and there are a FEW gaps that I would like to close but not at THAT price!
