I love that Electrolux death ray. Very neat site.

I don't know if any of you remember the pilot for the George Reeves' Superman TV series titled, "Attack of the Mole Men", but when the mole men get pissed off, they pop out of the oil well with a weapon that is so painfully obviously an Electrolux XXX with an aluminum funnel stuck in its end. Of course the effects department furnished the necessary laser-donut rays to be bounced off of Mr. Reeves' chest, but even as a child I recognized our canister on TV. I have to admit I had nightmares about the little mole men for weeks. I wonder if one of them was Jerry Marin?

I was in the super section trying to figure out why this thread was not there, and I see it got in the wrong place. Sorry, but it's fun anyway!

What a riot, Scott! I can just see this on CNN, the govt's proof of WMD in Iraq. No telling how many would fall for it! There was a fast glimpse of a model LX, too.
