these are typically high end dishwashers…not sure if it's worth the asking price but it looks new..

AD: " Miele G865 Dishwasher with wood door panel. Stainless steel.
I was given this by a friend who was a Miele repair man. I've never had a dishwasher or a water line for a dishwasher in my home. I planned to have someone install a line at some point but just never got around to it. It's been sitting in my house waiting to be used for about 3 years? My wife says she doesn't want or need a dishwasher. From what i've seen it's an older unit. It worked beautifully at my friends house before we brought it over but we never hooked it up here so I don't know if its not supposed to sit without being used for a specific amount of time. Come by and check it out.

Interesting...

I used a machine quite similar to this on my trip to Norway at the end of 2013. I believe that was from the 900 series.

A regular cycle on one of these, that is, a R-W-R-R is about 60 minute, with a main-wash at about 130ºF, heated from cold. The final rinse is very hot (about 60-65º, so 140-150º). If you go into the Universal Plus, it lengthens to about 90 minutes, which is quite good, which delivers spectacular results. You can hear the water sloshing round in these machines too, on all levels.

My major complaint was the build quality of the racks. Atom thin. The 30-yo Bosch I used later on in the trip was far better, but had a similar, somewhat un-inspiring racking.

The newer Miele I used, lacked the "Temperature" knob, interestingly.

(However) The Asko machines I'm interested in (particularly the DM1502/DM1402, former is electronic, latter is mechanical) use a similar means of wash control, although because they use different controls, its use has different functions in the cycle.

The DM1302 (BOL) and 1402 both have the Temperature Knob, which controls the power status plus the wash temperature, although the BOL only has OFF or 65º (150º) wash (For the longest cycle being 65 minutes with W - W - R - R).

These older Miele's are highly capable, use a decent amount of water and are reasonably well constructed, if you ignore the racking. This being an older machine might mean its a little more rugged. These machines also won't challenge you to investigate time-travel, either. LOL
