1942 Tappan Stove Model CPD8559 - $3000 (LaPorte, In)
well, it was never used -and whoever wrote this it wasn't my twin:

" We have this very old, 1955, stove for sale. We purchased a house to fix up and rent/sell and I kid you not... It was like walking into a Leave-It-To-Beaver episode. Original paint, flooring, appliances... and in excellent condition. This was a house that was used only for relatives when visiting. So it had very little use. This Tappan stove still has the original paperwork (They originally paid 379.95 for this stove). The clock, top light and interior lights work. We turned on the gas burners they worked. The oven did not kick on, but it is probably a clogged gas line - easy fix! It shines. DID I SAY IT SHINES! Inside and out. ABSOLUTELY NO SCRATCHES, BURN MARKS, OR SIGNS OF WARE. I saw this for sale at a antique appliance shop in Georgia $4,200. (The ad stated it was refurbish - this needs no refurbishing). Also in the house is a refrigerator, washing machine, and "wringer"?
