Oh my God!!! 163 degrees?!!? When Lucy and Desi were still doing a show together and using Westinghouse for a sponsor?
My LG can't even get that high and it's advertised to do so. One thing among many I've learned from this site is that every so-called "new" washer design that's being used today was at least tried out once in the distant past.

and, by the way, beautiful ad!

I do believe

that was a drying temperature, not a washer temperature, but I may be wrong.

And yes, there is a lot of "everything old is new again."
