Jeepers, I've never seen Whirlpool-branded cabinets before!   Given that D&M made the early WP dishwasher, could these have been cabinets made by American Kitchens (aka AVCO) for Whirlpool?

Rare find

They don't have those bulging under counter drawers like American Kitchens Cabinets, but that is just a matter of styling. Those big chips certainly indicate the sink got hard use like it was used for washing engines or anvils, with those nice wide bowls. I would hesitate to buy anything mechanical from the people who battered this sink.

The sink top is most likely enameled steel, rather than cast iron. We had one when I was a kid, and it didn't take much to chip it down to the base.

To me, those look much more like Youngstown than AK, but hard to say who made them. There were lots of steel cabinet manufacturers back then.
