Basic near bottom of the line Belt Drive model from the 80s, very good if you like to hear your DW running, not so great if you like to load lots of large items in the DW.
It also has limited cycle selection and poor water heating because of a lack of any thromostat that assures decent wash and final rinse temps, so you need really hot water going in. |

I had a version of this dishwasher and used it in my current home (it's a convertible, so I built it in) for about 8 years until the cycle control timer went. On the whole I was very satisfied with everything about it although when I installed the optional rinse dispenser it never worked right. I love the reverse rack machines and, unlike a lot of other machines, the top rack can be removed very easily so you can wash big things in the machine when you need to. I'm still looking to find a TOL of one of these with different cycles and the ability to turn the heating element on and off.
175 dollars is a lot, however. These machines are a dime a dozen. I wouldn't pay that much for a machine that's over 30 years old unless it were some remarkable collector's item. This isn't. |

I bought this identical machine for $50 a few years ago in great shape just as this one appears to be. I was happy with the cleaning performance.
I ended up giving it away to a friend who needed a dishwasher as I am more inclined to collect Kitchen Aid machines. I will say I think $175 is high. That's my opinion. I don't think I'd do more than $100 on this but it depends how badly you want this model. I overpaid for a machine I really, really wanted and I don't regret it. |
