Was that the set-up that would refill the ice tray when you pressed it? I am impressed that the original ice cube tray and storage trays are still there!
I'm intrigued as to what year this one is... I'd guess that it's got to be a '66 or later model, but I am surprised that the swing-out shelves are still being used. My '64 has the slide-out ones - but that could be because it's not a 'fancy' TOL model... |

I had the model that was right below this. The Ice button would simply pull the top ice shelf out with the door/drawer when you pressed it while pulling the handle, IIRC.
The auto-fill tray worked with a weight switch that would actuate the water valve circuit when the tray was empty. You tipped the freezing tray over into the bin when the ice was frozen and after closing the freezer door, the tray would refill. |

It's somewhere between '66 and '68. The '69 models had the woodgrain handle trim. |
