Well done James - I'm looking forward to the end result for this after all your hard work.
I sorted the shed out a bit more over the weekend so here's a pic of my 15792 (next to the 9605 and the 96702 hiding in the box). It needs a service as the brake makes a terrible squealing noise when it is washing as it is not holding the tub in place. S :) |

Well done James on bringing this lovely machine up again, this series of Hotpoints are my favourite machine by them, as you say simple but well engineered and very purposeful.
I hope it is a real pleasure for you BTW I would have the rubber hose into the sink its great to see what comes out and you get the great smell of the washing powder plus your sink drain will be kept clean. |

Well done James, you stuck with and made it work, not for the fainthearted pulling out those heavy vitreous enamel tubs, what was the condition of the outer tub? looks squeeky clean now, great to see the shiny heater..
Steve, did you cut the pipe or has it a metal tube on the bendy part? Oh Lord Pasty ya could do ya smalls in the sudz save solution!!Lavely!! |
