I think this is the person who wrote in a week or so ago about the range and dw in his barely lived-in house because the dials are all turned the same way. It's nice he is offering it for sale. |

We had one just like this (except with "ElectriClean" oven) in a home that my parents had built in 1969.
It was coppertone. I am surprised to see this unit in PINK as I thought that was a color that was only used in the 1950's. From what year to what year were these "Compact 30" units manufactured and when did they stop making it in pink? |

This Compact 30 is a 1962-63 model, Pink was discontinued in 1965 and the two Electri-Clean versions were introduced in 1967 as 1968 models. One Electri-Clean model had the Heat Minder and Speed Heat burners which weren't previously available on the Compact 30.
The older models have a larger oven door and no GM badge. Here's mine, also from 1969. The colors available then were white, avocado, shaded coppertone, shaded harvest gold and brushed chrome but no more pink, turquoise, sunny yellow and non-shaded "Aztek Copper". |
