When I moved to Cornwall 14/15 years ago the kitchen had the 800 spin version of this machine, we got rid of it to a friend some years ago and as far as I know it is still working, very similar programmer to the type used in the Hoover logics.
Yes a well built sensible washing machine. Glad you have one Gary |

I made a screenshot of the commercial. That AEG looks like an older 600 series, with the square buttons, not the round ones. Actually I prefer the older ones over the newer ones. I had a 625 that had problems with the pushbuttons at some point. The repairman told me the round pushbutton mechanism was cheaply made.

what is the maximum spin speed of Oko-Lavamat 600? 700,900 or 1000 RPM and what does the Digitronic means? BJ |

Hey, I prefer the round-type key models, cause you run the washer by pulling the dial out, in some other(older) models, I guess, with square-key you need to push the start button to run the cycle. I like the first one, genuine AEG! BJ |

Both series, the older one with the square buttons and the newer one with the round buttons, had models with pull out timers and models with a separate on/off button. In general the cheaper models had the pull out timer and the more expensive models a separate on/off button. The more expensive models with the round buttons had the most problems with the push buttons. The more buttons, the bigger the problem with the mechanism behind it.

Yes, some V-Zug Adorina models were AEG's in disguise, don't know about model numbers. Your AEG Lavamat Bella 850 comes close to an AEG Lavamat 610. But some 610 models had 4 push buttons, others 5.
If you need parts for these machines, it's best to contact AEG and use the E-number, that's how they identify the machine. |
