they did kind of ding! ....that sound is the solenoid bracket. When the solenoid snaps closed, it does sound like a ''ding'' of sorts! Mark | ||

ding?
mine sort of make a bang sound.. the 54 is louder than the flat top..is sort of like a band like a hammer on thick metal..maybe it depends on the strength of the solenoid..now i did clean mine and put a drop of oil on my finger and rubbed it on the metatl slide in the solenoid so maybe it makes them move quicker? dont know
