I have a beautiful whirlpool washer and dryer set for sale for 350 $ obo. They are in great condition and work perfectly, I recently just moved into a new apartment that came with a washer and dryer that I am not allowed to replace or I would be keeping them. Please text only no phone calls. Must be able to move and transport.

Looks like a Calypso set:

Very awesome machines if they work right. These, while they wash beautifully have many more repair issues than their DD counterparts.

These are like the set I have; bought them new - washer first, then the dryer a couple years later. Have never hooked up the dryer.

Tom, why haven't you used the dryer since you bought it?

Also, are these your daily drivers or occasional use machine and what are your impressions or comments about the washer?

Thank you! :-)

Phil

Phil, I used the old Maytag DE406 until I moved out to renovate the house. I've been going to the washateria since, but plan to hook up my laundry equipment sometime this summer.

One of many projects no doubt....

Ok, Tom. If your laundry room becomes something to show-off, I know some others would enjoy looking in. (I have yet to get ours in order, with some framed vintage ads, photos).

Hey Phil, my new laundry rm. is in the basement, in about the same area as before. The tub, water connections & drain for washer have been in for a while, but I do not have the wiring or dryer vent in yet. If I'm not sidetracked because of more health problems which have popped up, I hope to get to work on it soon.

Health problems! Let's hope these are passing inconveniences. I have been there done that and others around here, you know...well, my best wishes go out. Stupid body, the nerve! Breaking and cramping our style. Hmmph. :^/ :-)

I guess I'll find out something tomorrow when I go back to see the Dr. again. About three weeks ago I started feeling bad, belly issues, having to pee way too often and pain in my groin going down into my right leg. Went to see Dr. and they took urine sample. They called and said the lab found a trace of blood, so I needed to go back a week later to repeat. This time they said there was sugar in the urine, so now they want to do a blood test when I return. Last year the endocrinologist said my blood sugar was low, running about 75 or so. Don't know what's up now. I'm feeling a little better the last few days, though. It's been one thing after another with my health the last 5.5 years. I've never felt all that great since I was on the high dose of statins, which I think poisoned me. I've been totally off them now for about 2 years, and feel a lot better than I did, but not as good as I'd like.

So glad you dropped those statins - other half was on those. too...short while, bad side effects. Me: Blood in urine - had the same happen, but it was a colo-vesicle fistula, where the bladder and sigmoid colon were joined(not common for guys). I hope you can get it resolved soon and feel better. Best wishes, but be vigilant and careful in your med care professional choices(where possible)and review all decisions...I think you know the routine.
