As the ad mentions- The washer acts up when the load is too big.....Wonder what that's suppose to mean?

Probably the load gets off balance and will make that annoying buzzz as well as shut off. Most people don't know how to properly load a washer because they don't have to deal with it on newer machines.

Martin - agree, with white paint and a panel that's scratched down below to the metal, it's pricey.

Agitator was the golden super rotoswirl.

Beautiful Kenmore, That 70/71 800 was a great model.

$250 for it is a bit steep. I could understand it being asked if it were new in box, but not with wear and tear. Interesting how the seller asks for it as a "donation". Gotta love that.
