I am buying a completely restored Kitchen-Aid but can't find out what year it was made. It has a light blue dual agitator with a metal opening in the middle for softeners and a white porcelain basket. The machine is white but the controls are contained in a black facade with the letters/numerals in shiny silver. I know this is a bad description but I believe the agitator may be a big plus for its era. I promise to upload pics when I get a scanner!!

Re: Kitchen Aid Washer Info:

I would say that the Washer might be somewhere around the 1980's, because some friends of mine have a Matched Washer and Dryer and their Washer has the Blue Agitator and a Brownish or Black Control area. They actually have the Dryer in the Garage {not operating} because they moved into this place and their Dryer was a Gas Kitchen Aid and the place only had 220-Volt Electric, so they bought a new {at that time} Kenmore Dryer. Their Kitchen Aid Washer and Dryer are also Almond Color Cabinets, as is the Kenmore Dryer.

Sounds like one of the earliest ones that KA came out with. Probably around 1988 or so.

Would be a "spin and Drain" model? Very aggressive agitation on highest speed. Kool machine.
