I had a GE washer like that but had caps over the level, temp switches. I think it was a coin-op version without the box. Washed just fine. 1 level, 1 speed, except the tub was so small. Far as I know my tenant I gave it to when I sold the place was still using it as of last year when I got my Maytags in 1984.
