Hi there

I bought a second hand Zerowatt front loader washer dryer. In the move to my new house, I lost the instruction manual and can't remember how to use it.

Further to this, I broke off the little plastic lever to open the door and know no-one in Melbourne who supplies the parts and fixes them.

Can anybody help me- I'm desperate!!

Anyone want some Candy?

Hi Mandy:
Welcome.

*This was followed by the purchase of the Zerowatt company in 1985*

I have tried to find Zerowatt washers on the web, to find only that those washers seem to be, yes, on yachts and in general taken over by Candy Appliances in 1985.

Looks like Thor owns Candy. Sorry this had not been of assistance.

If you supply the model number, perhaps I can dig further.

Thanks

Hi Mandy

Zerowatt washers were sold in Australia by Discount Electrical Centre. They only have one shop that carries spare parts, it is their Northcote store in High Street. If you give them the exact model number they should be able to get the part for you.
Don't mention I said this when you go there, but I don't like that company at all. They import factory seconds and mystery brands to Australia and don't seem to stand by their product. As they are the sole importer you have nowhere else to go and they aren't very helpful. You may have more luck, as I live some hours from Melbourne and it was just too hard to co-ordinate getting there when the appropriate person was in the store.
I suspect they don't actually keep spare parts in stock, they may have some wrecks out the back they could get parts from, or they may have to order the parts for you from UK or Europe.

Good luck. If you get nowhere then leave another message here, I might be able to help you directly. Leave details of the actual model name and number of your machine.

Chris.
