It looks like it belongs more in a room with slings and leather!!  

 

So I'm curious about this liquid because weren't most of the machines a this era designed with dispensers that didn't work well with liquid detergents?  Was this likely used in machines that didn't have dispensers yet?

 Many of the very old dishwashers had no pre-rinse, so a liquid would be fine, just pour it right into the tub.

I would love to see the chemical ingredients that Chat was manufactured with.
