I recently got this , obviously never used , still in the box , old black and red wiring , no moulded plug , I presume it's never had a plug on it. Anyone any idea of date ? Not sure what to do with it as nearly all my twin tubs and wringers also boil! | ||

Blooming heck Lance, I would reckon that to be mid 60s at the latest and possibly even older than that. The very earliest boilers has a lid which came down over the outside of the boiler, rather than the sit on type that this is. I immediately checked the switch, the later boilers had one which was flatter, wider and blue.
