Hi there. Pretty long time since i posted last time. Have had A LOT to do. My girlfriend and i have bought a house we are living in now. The house i told in a thread (the Bendix machine). Now, when i live in the house i have taken my time trying to repair the Bendix machine. Its a god dam heavy machine i can tell.

The precious owner said the machine had boiled sometimes even with 60 c wash. I found the culprit. The thermostat cables are OFF. Looks almost something has gnawed them off. So the machine basically doesnt know when stop the heating.

The machine does not wanna spin. It just stands there does nothing. Strangely enough the motor seems to be ok. Wonder what the problem can be.

The machine is a little rusty on some spots but not in the outher tub or drum. No leaking as far i have seen. The bearings sounds a little "growly" but when you move the drum it seems fine.

My other machines works fine. In the nearest future i will buy an digital camera and take some pics of them. Cant say when though.

I took apart my Cylinda dryer (had overheat and was making LOUD noises)to repair it. The belt and the fan was in very bad shape. I had recycled another similar Cylinda at my job so i took the fan and belt from that one and VOILA!, my Cylinda works again. Lovely!!!

The Top loaded dryer i got from a person works also fine. You just have to remeber to vaccum the machine in regular intervals. But i,m so interrested in these machines so thats ok.

The Keymatic works even better when i changed the motor and the whole "program" box. It was though, a headache making the orange belt for the agitator sitting right. Not very easy i can tell. After the text i have a pic to show what i mean.

Oh by the way, Newwave1, I wonder when you gonna upload more video clips? Now when your parents are away why have a great opportonity there. Just a tip!

Anybody has tips on what to do with the Bendix machine? I know some users have this model and maybe can give a tip?
