Hello,

I have the chance of inheriting a Miele WT 2670 washer drier and was wondering if it was worth having.
It's in full working order and has not had heavy use, but I have a perfectly decent Bosch.

I may just keep the Miele as a spare until my Bosch breaks down or keep it for when my Mum's much older Bosch Maxx goes to washer heaven.

It's a much smaller capacity than my Bosch and I doubt I will use the drier as I have a seperate one in the garage, but it may be OK as a replacement for Mum's.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

having owned one not impressed

i had the same model a while back, it was great to begin with but the more i used it the more i found irritations, if your going to go for a miele your better off with the standard washers, steer clear of the washer dryers, dare i say it, it was the worst machine i ever owned. now...i must go and take cover quick!

I have a WT945

I have an old version of the WT2670.

I really hate the obscured window.
It irks me so much it is a garage machine which is only used to wash & dry the cat's bedding.

I wouldn't recommend this machine.
Twice as much to go wrong.
The drying is irritating as it lets in water too.

Fancy using water to dry.

I wouldn't buy a washer dryer of any make, but this Miele is free, so I'm not going to lose anything by accepting it. I may put my back out getting it into the car though.

My Mum is having it anyway, so I think the best thng to do is keep her old Bosch Maxx in the garage for a few weeks and see how she gets on with it.
