Found these at an estate sale. They are in great shape and used very lightly by an elderly woman who lived alone. Are these "true" Maytags and if so, how old are they?

I am thinking about getting them to replace some brand new pieces of crap that I have. Any comments/advice appreciated. Also, what would be considered a fair price for these?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Last models of the true dependable care line. These are good machines. The dryer should be torn down and have the rollers & idler pulley greased. That's a definite issue that should be attended to. Other than the main seal going out on the washer, it should last a long time. We usually rebuild the washer with a new main seal before we sell one. If it were on my floor, I could get $450-499 WITH a new main seal & we would give a 2 year warranty on it. If I were buying it privately, I'd say anything under $300/pair would be good. Just my opinion.

The price up there at $450-499 I meant for the pair. I didn't re-upgrade my membership yet so I can't edit my post.

Are there more pics of this pair in the ad itself?  I think these were the top of the line for this series.
