Hello everybody. I am fascinated in the whirlpool dishwashers with the tilt-out control panel. What were the cycles and options. I've always been interested into what they sound like during operation. I wish there was a section called hear it wash or hear it run! If anybody has this type of dishwasher, if applicable, please do some sound recordings of these dishwashers. Thank you very much.

I had friends who had this dishwasher at a ranch nearby they bought.  It had the sounds of the typical PowerClean, nothing different.  Cycles were Super Scour, Heavy Wash, Normal Low Energy, Rinse & Hold, and maybe China Crystal.  Options were heated or cool dry and high temp wash.  There was no Sani Rinse specifically.  It also had selectable delay start option too.  I saw the user manual for this model online at WP a couple of years ago.

old whirlpool dishwasher

I remember when my babysitter had a Whirlpool dishwasher. IIRC it sounded like an air conditioner running. I will miss the gasping sounds it made as it was filling up. Were the tilt-out models equipped with touchscreen or buttons? Did they beep when you push a button or was silent when pushing buttons? Also, where were the detergent and rinse aid dispensers? What did they look like? I remember GE and some Maytags had rounded dispensers. I don't know about whirlpool. It would be interesting to hear the vintage whirlpool dishwashers for memories sake.
