Hi there, I have a problem with an AEG Oko Favorit 3530 dishwasher. This is probably a Europe-only product and probably more than 10 years old but I am not entirely sure. I was wondering if anyone here could give me some advice:

This washer is in a rented apartment I just moved into and the other day the water did not get drained from the washer after it had run. So the round area in the bottom of the washer, which you can see in the first attached photo, was full of water. At that point I tried to find the block and unintentionally removed the two parts your can see in the second picture.

Then I drained the washer manually and now I have no idea where those two parts should be going. I just can't see any obvious place for them to go :)

If you have any suggestions, they would be much appreciated! Many thanks.

Lars

Hello Lars,

Considering the four digits of the model number, I guess your dishwasher could be around 20 years old. I can't answer your question, but perhaps the members of the German forum can. Are you familiar with that? Here's the link.

The silver dome in photo 1

Can that be removed? Do they live in there?

On second thoughts I might be wrong about the age. Could be a bit younger too. Couldn't find much about this model on the internet but there was more about a 3430. Here's the link to the manuals. Search on 3430.

I found a picture in the manual on which you can vaguely see these parts. Hope this helps.

Fantastic! Thanks very much! Yes, I could hardly find anything on this model on the web but the model you dug up looks pretty similar! I'll have a closer look tomorrow. Thanks so much for your help!

I'll also check out the German forum, thanks for that and no, as far as I can tell the silver dome cannot be removed and I hope nobody's living in there, it would be a miserable life ;)
