I have owned a Mobile Maid similar to the one in the picture of the day. Matter of fact, 2 MMs and we had one at our summer cottage.
How can this machine hold 15 place settings ? Would that be just Dinner Plates and Flatware ?
Those split top racks do not hold more than 16 glasses with barely room for anything else. And those are uniformily shaped not too big glasses.
It's probably some NEMA rating thing, but seriously. That's quite a claim.

If the words "place setting" are restricted to plates or saucers of various sizes along with cutlery, then yes can see how you could fit fifteen sets in the MM.
My unit is similar if not the same as the one shown in POD and am here to tell you much can be put in. Weak point for MM dishwashers IMHO are bowls and similar items. Owner's manual suggests loading them in corners of lower rack. That or around the perimeter. If you did this and your plates aren't too large it *may* be possible to get fifteen bowls along with various plates loaded. |
