I emailed the seller but I haven't heard back. I've always wanted this model and I don't want to be without a RR dishwasher in the house somewhere; they're so f'ffin handy.
I'm also coming around to the opinion that dishwashers with forced-air do a better job on drying plastics than others. It's interesting to realize that the percentage of plastic items in my ordinary loads has gone from 0 to about 75%; I would like it if the manufacturers of the machines and the chemicals would start designing their products specifically for plastics. |

Ken, the first or 2nd generation of GE tall tubs offered a plastics cycle. It had an extended drying cycle and I think some models had forced air drying. Cascade also offered a cleaning booster just for plastics. It was only on the market for 1 to 2 years. I think DAdOes' parents have a model with this cycle. |
