Hi Guys,
Whilst looking through some urban explorers videos on YouTube today I found this one of a small house in an unknown state of the U.S. It literally looks as if someone just up and left one day leaving everything behind including everything in the cupboards just about and their appliances. I will let the video speak for itself but this home seems very much in a 70's/80's time warp, complete with Hoover Twin Tub in the bathroom :-) |

It looks too clean. I have been in houses that have stood empty for years and they are full of dust and cobwebs. Nice twintub! |

Would be interesting to find out where it is.... there were homes about 100 miles from me at LOVE CANAL that were left like that, due to contamination from the Hooker Chemical Plant... it was seeping in basements, and in drinking water I think the place was built over where all the chemicals were buried in drums that rusted and started leaking, Lots of kids etc were developing weird cancers and birth defects. Anyone on this site from Buffalo might have more info....

I saw this video a while back, and what a cool little house it is. There is three frigs crammed into that small space. There is another 1950s frig all the way to the back of the closet.
In another of his videos, they drive into L.A., Santa Monica I think, just to pick up an old T.V. They filmed the TV at first, then ask if they can tour the mostly vacant house and video it. The people were giving (or selling) the TV because the person living in the 1910s era house passed away, and they were clearing the almost all original house out to sell it. Considering the age of the house it was in amazingly original condition. All I could think was, you just know some douche-bag is going to buy this and rip out all the original stuff that gives it it's charm. Fans of originally appointed houses should check out that video.
