Agh! Those are the ones we want! Couldn't be much further from NH though and still be in the lower 48 states!

Mine!

...I think. I already spoke by telephone with him, and am picking them up next weekend. Gotta get him a deposit to hold them a week. Here's hoping...

Excellent! Glad to hear that they're going to somebody here and not have them "recycled" into new steel!

The scene below still gives me the chills...

"We'll put her in the clapper.

Crunch her up 'til she's one solid piece of metal.

Then we're gonna put her in the furnace, melt her down 'til she's liquid iron.

That's what we're gonna' do."

ovrphil . . .

. . . I am excited to pick these up.

Wife is as yet unaware they are coming, she'll soon find out though. I have a question or two if anyone could help me out.

When we do our kitchen/laundry remodel, we'll include a NG line, so I will eventually want the gas version of the dryer. I have a line on one, and it is cheap enough, but has the gold control panel. Can these be easily swapped, so my wife can have a matxhed set?

Looking forward to seeing your pictures of these after you pick them up -- we're still hunting for an A806 / DE808 set in New England!

Steve, I'm guessing the shells of the panels can be switched, but I'm not so sure the guts can.  You might want to start another thread on that subject once you have both dryers in your possession.

Will Post Photos. . .

. . .when and if I get them. I mailed cash, he's not received it yet. I know, I know, do not mail cash - but I have never had it lost in the post yet.

Why is it , though, that I can get a ps kage to my sisterin N.C. In two or three days, but not to a location a couple counties away in the same time.

Do not believe I will get the other dryer, will just continue looking.
