Why is the left side wall tapered? I've never seen that before.

Visually speaking

it does look cocked into the left side as though the feet are missing on one side?

But then the right front lines running up and down the sides aren't parallel with its neighboring fridge.

I'd say missing adjustable feet on one side allowed the tilt.

I thought he was asking about the left inside of the wall being curved? to accommodate the swing out shelves.

If that has the serpentine evaporator coil in the fresh food section, I wonder if the freezer is a U-defrost-it style.

It's exactly what I'd love to have

I'm pretty sure it's a Frost Guard fridge.  Apparently that's the only part of the system that's currently doing its job.

It's beautiful, but its non-working condition is a deal-breaker for anyone unless they have experience with refrigeration diagnosis and repair.  It appears to be counter depth and at a dealer, shoehorned in between two top-freezer types.  I guess they only sell used appliances and don't fix them.

You nailed it. I didn't understand the comment. It is different, that left side being curved. Tomturbomatic explained it, (?).
