vintage maytag gas dryer - $30

Due to upgrading our washer and dryer I am now selling my older model gas dryer that works great except it's partner in crime aka the washer finally died. So I am asking $30.00 for my currently widowed yet still very functional and working gas dryer.

As old as the first one is, it looks like new.

Selling your working dryer, because you want one...... that matches your washer, .......is always a good idea. yep. Who can argue with that thinking? Everyone knows matching washers and dryers just work better when they are in the company of each other. Oh, and they have to be sitting exactly next to each other with not more than a 1/2" between the sheet metal sides. Tops must be exactly level and in the same plane........ oh yeah.....

If this is a gas Halo of Heat

A Maytag HOH gas dryer is not the gift from heaven one might expect. They had a very low BTU input because the burner is so close to the front of the drum and the felt seals for the airflow. HOH dryers also have a small drum so modern large capacity washer loads are not well accommodated in them for dying speed or wrinkling due to overloading.

I know what you mean. I had the displeasure, years ago, of selling an avocado gas HOH MT dryer to someone, having not tested the gas part, and he called later stating the felt was burned and I needed to replace it, which I did. I was 16.
