Hi! Thought i would share with you these pictures.

This is a Hobart Commercial dishwasher, LM12E, serial 94-011742 (if somebody can point me in the birthdate that would be nice). It's installed at our schoolkitchen where it perfoms its duty. There are 150 meals served every week day so it's lightly used. It was build in a factory in France apparently.

The dishwasher is hooked up to a hot water inlet and is programmed to perform a bio-cycle with special detergent between 50°C-60°C (110-140°F), and a rinse with fresh incomming hot tapwater (so there is no booster) between 75°C and 80°C (165°-180°F). There is no chlorine sanitizing.

I sneaked in and took some pictures. Hope you'll enjoy them!

#1 general overview (soiled side left, clean side right)
#2 tag
#3 controlpanel (wash and rinse thermometer, white "on"-light, selector switch for fill or 80 sec cycle
#4 pressure switch (plates vs light items, full force vs half)
#5 lower wash-arm, rinse-arm, filters. The steel rod operates a valve to reduce or increase the waterpressure.
#6 upper rinse-arm
#7 pumpmotor, pumpassembly, holdingtank
#8 otherside of the pumpassembly, freshwater enters the machine true the copperpipe, with a pressuregage to verifie the right waterpressure. The blue magneticvalve is quite recent (guess 3 years old). In between u see the wiring for the heater that keeps the washwater up to temperature.
#9 inside the holding tank (pre-cleaning) with the heater and a probe.

WOW !!!

I had no idea Hobart not only exported this model, but still produced the LM series.

I also have never heard of a Low Temp machine with out a Quat or Chlorine Sanitizer.

The Wash Arm design is that from a machine I think from around 1984.  They used to be Cast Iron.

These machines were/are Great Cleaners

The Wash and Rinse Arm configuration of the AM series machine is that exactly of the LM machine.

The LM series had no Upper Wash Arm or Spray. It did however have 4 fixed "Wing" type sprayers for Fresh Water Final Rinse.

Beautiful Machine. I would guess at 150 people per meal, that machine is pretty much maxed out. I believe the Wash Time is 90 seconds, 5 second Dwell, and a 12 Second Fresh Water Final Rinse.

The LM series utilizes a 19 3/4 X 19 3/4 Standard Size Dish Rack where as the SM Series (Baby LM) uses(d) a 16 X 16 Dish Rack.

Attached are pics...

1st is from around the Mid 50s to Early 60s of the LM Machine. This is denoted earlier by the Script Hobart Logo

2nd. is the AM series from the same time.  But the Interior pic shows the Cast Iron Wash Arm.

Oh Yes,  stevet ... some Verification Please ???
